This policy explains how refunds work for pay-per-download purchases on AppsGolem. Subscription plans are governed by a separate policy inside our Terms and Conditions.
When we refund automatically
AppsGolem processes automatic refunds when the download you paid for is unavailable through no fault of yours. Examples:
- The source video was removed or made private after your payment and before your download completed.
- A storage or infrastructure issue on our side prevented delivery within the 48-hour download window.
- Our processing pipeline failed to produce a playable file for the purchase.
Automatic refunds are issued to the original payment method within a few working days. No email or ticket is required from you — the system detects the failure and initiates the refund.
Manual refund window
If you paid for a download but the result did not match your expectations, you can request a manual refund within 24 hours of your purchase by replying to the payment receipt email. State the transaction ID (visible in the receipt) and a short reason.
We approve manual refund requests generously within this window; the goal is a low-friction experience for one-off purchases. Refunds outside the 24-hour window are reviewed case by case.
When refunds are not issued
We do not refund the following:
- Successful downloads outside the 24-hour manual refund window. Once you have downloaded the file and enough time has passed, the purchase is considered fulfilled.
- Chargeback abuse. Repeat requests without a valid reason may result in future purchase restrictions.
- Requests for downloads that were fulfilled but the resulting file was legally provided as-is (source video codec, resolution, audio track and so on match what the source platform served).
How the refund reaches you
Refunds are processed through Stripe, our payment provider, and are returned to the original card or wallet used at checkout. Depending on your bank the funds usually appear within 3-10 working days.
